Vice President, Information Technology and PMO
Nelly Jefferson is Vice President of Information Technology and PMO for the Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses. She is responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and managing the information technology strategies and functions. She provides information technology leadership and engages with the line of business leaders to establish cost effective solutions and processes to ensure the effective realization of the company’s business goals.
Ms. Jefferson joined Consolidated Edison Company in 2011 as Director, Information Systems and transitioned to the Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses in 2017, to lead the IT organization. Previously, she held positions of increasing leadership responsibilities at companies such as Electronic Data Systems (EDS), American Water Company, PSE&G, Selective Insurance and Consolidated Edison Company.
Ms. Jefferson is a member of the New Jersey Society of Information Management (NJSIM) and Project Management Institute. She has held several board positions for NJSIM such as president, executive vice president, programs vice president and treasurer.
Ms. Jefferson holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Montclair State University.
